1. Do I need to bring sheets and pillowcases?
   No, you do not have to. Clean sheets and pillowcases for all beds are in the closet in the attic.

2. Should I bring blankets or comforters?
   No. That is not necessary. There are plenty of duvets for all beds.

3. Should I bring towels and tea towels?
   No, you need not bring towels and tea towels.

4. How many bedrooms are there?
   There are five bedrooms; furthermore there is sleeping corner in the attic and a sofa bed in the children’s television room.

5. How many beds and mattresses are there?
   Listed from bottom (ground) to the attic.

   ● Ground floor:                     Double bed 200 x 180 cm
   ● Middle floor:                       Two bedrooms with two single bunks, one above the other. Each 200 x 90 cm
   ● Kid’s television room:         Double sofa
   ● Top floor:                            Single bed 200 x 90 cm in separate bedroom
                                                 Double bed 210 x 180 cm in separate bedroom and
                                                 Double bed 200 x 180 cm in separate corner in the attic.
                                                 Furthermore, two single mattresses in the attic.

6. Is there a cot?
   Yes, there is a folding cot. 

7. Which ferry can I take?
   There is one ferry service between Harlingen and Terschelling:
   ● Doeksen www.rederijdoeksen.nl
   Doeksen has large, slow ferries (2 hour crossing) and fast boats (45 min) and sails regularly throughout the year.

8. How do I get from the port on West Terschelling to Huis ter Duin?
   Bus Company Arriva maintains a bus service from the ferry at West Terschelling to Midsland aan Zee. The end station of this bus is Paal 8. The bus waits for the arrival of the ferry.

9. You are welcome at Huis ter Duin from 14.00 hours. Can I come earlier?
   If you call Maaike (+31615203400) in advance, he may open Huis ter Duin perhaps a bit earlier for you. Otherwise, you can have a drink or bite on the beach at the Brandaris pavilion.

12. How far is the beach from Huis ter Duin?
    As the crow flies it is about 300 m. By road or path 300 m.

13. What can I do when it rains?
    You can read (there are some books in Huis ter Duin).
    You can make jigsaw puzzles
    You can play cards
    You can play board games
    You can play darts (in the basement)
    You can play table tennis (in the basement)
    You can play shuffle board

14. Can I have the house cleaned before departure?
    Yes, you can call Dirk and Betty (preferably a few days before your departure) and have the house cleaned for € 75.

15. What are the days of changeover?
    From 1 May to 1 October and during the school holidays: Saturday.
    From 1 October to 1 May the changeover days are Friday and Monday.
    (If you rent a whole week it is from Friday - Friday, a weekend from Friday-Monday and a midweek from Monday to Friday).

16. What is the password for Wi-Fi (wireless internet)?
    The Wi-Fi password is written on the bulletin board in the kitchen.
